Our Approach to Treatment

Assessment and Evaluation

The first step in creating a treatment plan is to assess and evaluate your current mental health and well-being. This includes an initial session, using standardized assessment tools, and gathering relevant information on the history, symptoms, and goals. This step helps therapists gain a comprehensive understanding of your unique needs.

Goal Setting

Once the assessment is complete, we’ll work collaboratively with you to establish clear and achievable treatment goals. These goals will be specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART), ensuring that both the therapist and you have a shared understanding of expectations during therapy.

Treatment Planning

In this phase, we’ll create a detailed treatment plan that outlines the strategies and interventions that will be used to address your concerns and help you achieve your goals. This plan will be individualized taking into account your strengths and preferences.

Progress Monitoring and Adjustment

A treatment plan is dynamic and it's essential to regularly monitor the progress and make adjustments to it as needed. This involves ongoing communication between you and the therapist. We’ll get feedback on the effectiveness of interventions, and adapt the plan to address any changes in your circumstances or needs.
