Intern

Hi there, I’m Ananya (Ana). Currently in my fourth year of Medical Sciences at Western  University, I’m fueled by a deep-seated desire to give back to my  community and positively impact others’ lives. Recognizing the integral role mental health plays in overall well-being, I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to broaden my understanding of counselling and mental health at HPC.

I aim to seamlessly integrate this newfound knowledge into my future career, enriching the support I can offer those in need. Enhancing our comprehension of mental health can pave the way for greater healing and resilience within our communities.

When I’m not immersed in my studies, you’ll often find me lost in the pages of a good book, exploring nature through hiking adventures or cherishing moments spent with loved ones. These moments of relaxation and connection rejuvenate me, fueling my passion to make a difference in the lives of others.

Everyone's Journey is differents and i'm here to help you on yours.

Before becoming a therapist, I earned my Master of Business Administration (MBA) and worked in banking. My background in the banking industry has taught me that working in a high-stress atmosphere can make it difficult to find time and space for connections and support due to social, cultural, and organizational barriers.

In addition to finding meaning in therapeutic work, I find joy in practicing gratitude, going for long walks, and cuddling with my pets. I love spending time with family and especially cherish the adventures I have with my children. I love to read, bake and love spending time in nature.

Professional Bio

I received my Master of Business from University of East London, UK and Master of Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. I am a Registered Psychotherapist through the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and professional member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). I am also a member of the Ontario Society of Registered Psychotherapists (OSRP).
