Lauren Whaey

I’m Lauren, an undergraduate student pursuing an honours specialization degree in psychology at Western University. I am passionate about learning more about counselling to help guide others through their struggles. I am excited to learn from these amazing professionals to increase my experience. I know from personal experience that may come from specific events in our day-to-day lives, trauma, negative self-talk and moods, which may occur without a known reason. I want to help encourage individuals to recognize these rough patches and help them get past them and through them.

I enjoy reading, going on walks and playing flag football in my free time! I like to find the right balance between school, spending time with family and friends, and taking time for myself.
