She/They

I’m Magda and I believe that the client is the expert in their own life. Using a client-centered approach, I aim to meet the client where they are and guide them through their challenges. Through a conversational and collaborative style, I offer a comfortable space to explore presenting concerns while validating and accepting experiences. Through curiosity, I encourage the challenging of thought and behaviour to promote change.

I obtained my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. Previously, I completed my Honours Bachelor of Science with Distinction in Psychology at the University of Toronto in Mississauga. I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) under the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).

Through a combination of Narrative and Solution Focused modalities, my offered individual sessions allow clients’ stories to be explored and built upon to reflect resilience. Informed by the Gottman Method and Emotion-Focused Therapy, my offered relational sessions help guide clients towards improved communication and a shared understanding of each other’s relational beliefs and values to promote bonding and conflict resolution.

As a queer, polyamorous, and sex and kink positive therapist, I have a passionate interest in supporting clients in exploring their identities and developing intentional and aligned relationships.  In my work, I offer therapeutic services as they relate to 2SLGBTQIA+ experiences, anxiety, depression, non-monogamy, grief and loss, life transition, self-esteem, body image, and suicidal thoughts.  My approach is trauma-informed, intersectional, affirming, integrative, and client-centered. In my spare time, I am a self-care enthusiast. Hiking with my dog, staying active, expressing gratitude and engaging in creative practices are a few ways I find fulfillment.
