Tanvi Dudeja
Intern
Hi there! I’m Tanvi Dudeja. I am an aspiring mental health professional. After a decade-long corporate career, I moved to the health service domain to serve the community meaningfully. My intellectual and empathic curiosity, concern for societal well-being, lived experiences, and skills acquired through work have motivated me to choose this career course. Recently, I reached the first milestone in my journey toward the goal by earning an undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto, specializing in psychology.
I am committed to advancing my education toward a career in counselling and psychotherapy, where I can integrate scientific research with practical application. Working with HPC has given me invaluable exposure to various aspects of direct client care in a therapeutic setting.
I firmly believe in the mind-body connection for holistic well-being, so our conversations will likely touch on this topic. To strengthen this connection at a personal level, I incorporate the practice of yoga and sports in my routine as frequently as I can alongside studies and work. I also enjoy spending time with family, friends, and other community members. These relationships foster a sense of belonging and contribute to my sense of balance and vitality.
I am excited to continue my journey in the mental health field, combining academic knowledge and applied skills to effect positive change for individuals and communities.
